Facing Fear Head On: Take the Leap

Leap

Fear has a way of placing you in a pattern and a hold that can be hard to break out of. It will have you wasting time in a place because you have become comfortable and safe, never willing to risk stepping outside your comfort zone because you fear the unknown. Trust me when I say I do understand.

However, I have witnessed the reward and boost of confidence that comes when you do decide to face those fears head-on. It isn’t always easy but to experience the next level, it will be required.

Some of the questions that may constantly replay in your mind when you are making the decision to step out of your comfort zone to try something new might be the questions listed below.

What if it does not work?

What will people think?

How will it look?

However, have you ever asked, what if it does work?

Facing fear head-on is like a gift being unwrapped to unveil all the wonderful things you would have missed if you had stayed in a place of fear. Oftentimes what we envision for our lives is on the other side of fear.

“One of the greatest discoveries a man makes, one of his great surprises, is to find he can do what he was afraid he couldn’t do.” ~ Henry Ford

As we near the end of the summer and embark upon another season, I pray that you will be intentional about facing your fear head-on. Step out of your zone of comfort and take the leap of faith. Do not wait for permission from others to do what you feel and believe you are to be doing.

Step out on faith, trust God, and get ready to experience a boost of confidence, joy, and blessings.
