Joy is a Nigerian-American woman who gave God her “yes” by launching a blog site back in 2015 following a breakup. The breakup led her to connect and serve individuals throughout her personal and professional journey. As a result, Joy’s passion cultivated her to become a certified life coach, faith blogger, empowerment speaker, and the author of This Is Not Your Typical 'Finding Your Purpose' Book and Heartbreak Hotel: It's Time To Check Out.
Outside of giving God her “yes”, Joy is a Director of Fellowships and Career Exploration at CareerWise New York. She has the opportunity to work with amazing colleagues to bring career-connected learning to 58 New York schools throughout all the various boroughs in New York.

What inspires you?
Understanding what being purpose-driven really is inspires me on a daily basis. Being purpose-driven is not about me, but about serving someone else. When I fully understood this, I understood that my purpose in this world to serve in a variety of ways is inspiring.

Most people find it hard to believe but despite how bubbly I am, I still have moments when I feel socially awkward or shy.
